Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists (OTs) help people to live meaningful lives.
For many people, OTs play a critical role in making daily tasks easier, restoring confidence, or finding new ways to achieve familiar things.
Our therapists support clients through:
-Prescribing home modifications such as ramps, handrails and bathroom modifications
-Prescribing and trialing assistive equipment such as wheelchairs, scooters, and hoists
-Conducting OT specific assessments such as functional capacity assessments
We provide ongoing communication to ensure our patients are cared for over the long term.
NDIS Participants
Total Health Choice is a registered NDIS provider.
We work with adult participants who are self-managed, plan managed and NDIA managed
We provide:
- Comprehensive Physiotherapy services
- NDIS change of request forms
- NDIS assistive technology reports
- NDIS functional capacity assessments and reports
- SIL and SDA assessments and reports
- Hydrotherapy, exercise physiology
We also help NDIS participants from South Yarra engage in their community by helping with community access, social supports, and recreation/skill development
Home Care Package Clients
We support older adults to live meaningful lives and stay in their homes.
We provide support through practical strength and balance programs, fall prevention programs, and more.
We also provide all relevant home assessments and equipment trials to ensure our clients feel comfortable and confident at home.
